GDIT provides the day-to-day operational services to FDIC in support of infrastructure, facilities, hardware, software, and systems.
Level of Clearance Required: U.S. Citizenship and background investigation is required; you must have a current clean financial background to obtain an agency specific Public Trust.
GDIT is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for the FDIC infrastructure program. (Though the position is 8-5 M-F, the role requires flexibility to support issues or planned activities after hours, weekends and holidays as needed.) Successful candidate must possess and be able to demonstrate technical skills and engineering attitude for success, dedication and commitment.
Task and responsibilities in this role include:
Collaborate with other ServiceNow Developers in a team environment to analyze problems and develop solutions to customer requests though a wide variety of ServiceNow applications and capabilities.
Be familiar with the preparation, implementation, and testing of ServiceNow upgrades
Demonstrate understanding of the development lifecycle
Application UI Configuration and customization
Workflow Configuration and customization
Development of client specific reporting and dashboards
Troubleshoot and Support ServiceNow based Applications and Systems
Participate in ongoing production support and end user support to include account/group administration.
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
1) BS degree OR
2) No degree & 4 years OR
3) Applicable certificate of training & 2 years undergraduate work
Experience in requirements gathering and analysis, solution design, development task management, quality assurance, and release methodologies
At least 1-2 years strong working knowledge of ServiceNow core architecture, especially modules such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, and Knowledge Management
Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools
Skill to effectively analyze and solve problems
Ability to work directly with internal (IT) and external clients
It would be great if you also had:
Familiarity with Asset or Procurement modules.
Experience integrating third party applications into ServiceNow for reporting and workflow purposes.
