GDIT is seeking a Data Specialist to provide support on an exciting new Cloud Service Offering contract.
NOTE: This position is currently contingent upon contract funding.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Enters a wide variety of source documents such as computer-generated reports, program coding sheets, and other narrative and statistical information using PC-based database management software.
Examines and sorts documents by subject matter, category, or other specified manner.
In accordance with established procedures, reviews source documents for completeness and accuracy.
Detects and rejects illegible or incomplete source documents and information.
Following detailed instructions collects and organizes management and technical data for entry into reports and databases in prescribed formats.
Keys data at an average rate with good accuracy.
Verifies accuracy and corrects data using automated data edit reports if possible.
Reviews and annotates data sheets, reports, and other documents for data entry technicians.
Maintains records covering verification statistics.
Active DoD Top Secret and SCI Eligibility
High School Diploma
6+ years of experience OR equivalent experience in lieu of education
Experience entering data into automated systems and performing related administrative duties
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
Able to travel 5-10% to VA/MD/DC area
Experience with Cloud, Azure, MS Office 365
