Description Provide an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to serve as the principal advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of the information systems.
Information System Security Officer (ISSO): The ISSO will be responsible for system security planning, security reviews, system/application compliance testing, project management, tracking and remediating findings, and maintaining and continuous improvement of documentation for communications web applications and related equipment. Must be an expert at developing strategic-level plans and have strong knowledge and experience in cybersecurity information technology and security applications.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, with a minimum of eight (8) years directly related experience. Equivalent years of directly related experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements. • Cybersecurity and Computer Network Defense Experience desired. • Experience successfully managing customer engagements to completion and customer satisfaction and service, as appropriate. • Proficient understanding of Information Sharing platforms. • Strong ability to align technical concepts & features to business need. • Knowledge of industry-accepted customer service/tech support practices and methodologies, systems, and architecture. • Must be an expert at developing strategic-level plans and have strong knowledge and experience in cybersecurity information technology and security applications.
