Software Engineer Senior

Our work depends on a Software Engineer Senior joining our team to work side-by-side with the government at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren Division’s Weapons Control & Integration Department (H Dept).
HOW A SOFTWARE ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Design, develop, evaluate, plan and test engineering specifications for software programs and applications
- Operate as part of the contract leadership to translate customer requirements into actionable workflows; marshal resources and facilitate development of technologically sound solutions
- Operate as part of a development team that provides capabilities to multiple areas of the Armed Forces including Navy, Marine Corps and Special Forces.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
- Required Experience: Ten (10) years professional technical experience which includes at least six (6) years performing computer hardware engineering, software design, coding and compilation of code; computer or software requirements management, computer systems or software integration; and utilizing systems engineering software tools. Specialized experience includes demonstrated ability to engineer complex systems with integrated software and hardware solutions, and advanced sensory control loop development.
- Required Technical Skills: Experience related to HTML, C/C++, Unix, Linux, and JIRA
- Security Clearance Level: Active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Ability to gain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance is desired.
- Location: Hybrid – Company Site and customer site (on DoD Base)
