GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support (MTCCS) program.  GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training.  Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems.  Establish /maintain training and exercise networks.  Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

GDIT is seeking full time Systems Technician/ Subject Matter Expert to provide mission critical Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) training, scenario development, execution, and operation support services at MTC-Korea on Camp Humphreys, South Korea.

  • Support the use of the Army Live, Virtual, Constructive-Integrating Architecture (LVC-IA) program for home station training event/exercise preparation and execution.

  • Work closely with the on-site customer, Mission Training Complex (MTC) personnel, and training units to thoroughly understand the LVC-IA; the system capabilities and possible uses.

  • Provides local and distributed live, virtual, constructive simulation and gaming training support incorporating live (HITS) virtual (AVCATT/ CCTT/RVS), and games for training (VBS 3) training devices supporting and Integrated Training Environment (ITE). 

  • Provide information system administration support to MTC exercises and events.

  • Responsibilities include, but not limited to, building simulation scenarios; participating in information system end to end operational testing; configuration of gateway interface to external systems.

  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot both Windows based and RHEL workstations and server class systems in our MTC Facilities

  • Assist Information Assurance managers with maintaining Risk Management Framework compliance.

  • Provide support to Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming and Low Overhead exercises and events.

  • Provide input and support to the creation of training related products, along with AAR activities.

  • Support equipment/facility setup and recovery operations at all MTC facilities in support of MTC events and exercises.

Desirable Skills / Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience with the US Army

  • 4+ years of experience with leading Army training

  • Experience in Simulation or Army Mission Command Systems preferred.

  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.

  • Position requires close customer contact and the ability to work independently and creatively.

Education Required:

  • High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or systems engineer discipline from an accredited institution preferred.

Certifications:

  • Be able to obtain DoD 8570.01-M IAT level I Cyber Security Workforce baseline certification (e.g. A+, Network+, Security+, SSCP).

Security Clearance:

  • U.S. Secret Clearance.
