Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the worlds most complex technical challenges. The Personnel Modernization (PersMod) team is searching for a Database Manager to join their program based in New Orleans, LA.

  • Responsible for the availability of 24/7 US Navy Applications

  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting up to date patching of Operating Systems and Applications

  • Plan workload of a team of 30 administrators of Windows, Linux, Database and Application

  • Plan upgrades of operating systems and software

  • Plan for progressive implementation of AWS Cloud native features integrated into existing environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree; Masters preferred

  • 10+ years of technical and management experience in a large software development programs

  • Experience with AWS architecture

  • Understanding of Linux, Windows and Oracle Patching cycle.

  • Knowledge of ACAS

  • Knowledge of ATO process

  • Navy NSIPS experience desired

  • IAT Level II certifications

  • Secret clearance
