Supports the Senior Technical Advisor for the Cyber Threat Analysis Division for the Department of State. Position requires technical expertise and the ability to provide technical support for strategic initiatives as determined by senior leadership. Expertise in at least three of the following fields highly desirable: cyber threat analysis, incident response, cloud security, mobile device security, forensic analysis. May interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies. Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework a plus. Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical audiences to help support their needs. Experience setting up analysis labs and cloud instances is desirable.

BS or equivalent plus 7 years related experience

Security Plus, CEH, CISSP, desired
