At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Software Engineer on a development team of next generation organization messaging system. The successful candidate will have a blend of developer expertise and SecDevOps practices. The team is looking to who can focus on strengthening the automated infrastructure as code environment
Working as part of a motivated, high-performing team
Resolving critical IT-related issues that negatively impact the customer’s mission
Collaborating with teammates and government customers to identify process improvements
Lending expertise and institutional knowledge to less experienced engineers to improve the overall technical excellence of the team
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 10 years related experience.
Demonstrated experience with SecDevOps processes and continuous delivery systems (e.g. Git, Jenkins, CloudWatch, Dockers, tc)
Demonstrated experience or certification in cloud technologies creating self-healing/auto-scaling systems.
Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing network load balancing solutions across Linux servers and web applications within the last 2 years.
Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, tuning, securing and maintaining web servers (e.g. Apache Tomcat or JBoss)
