The Knowledge manager ensures information and knowledge assets are properly created and applied enterprise-wide to improve decision-making. Knowledge Management includes all actions to ensure creation, collection, validation, storage, distribution, assimilation, and application of knowledge within the organization.
Provide input to Knowledge Management Plan based on business process analysis and innovations in enterprise information technology knowledge management solutions.
Execute knowledge management functions to include creation of knowledge portal sites, knowledge audits, process analysis, and SharePoint performance monitoring
Improve the customer’s efficiency and effectiveness for both IT systems and business processes.
Contribute to a Government provided Knowledge Management portal that provides status of Knowledge Management activities to the Government Knowledge Manager.
Employ Knowledge management resources to support internal and external IT service management priorities.
Play a team member role of five in the design and implementation of the Knowledge Management architecture.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
