GDIT is looking for a Program Director to lead a large program supporting IT enterprise architecture strategy and standards, infrastructure and systems engineering, network engineering, enterprise service desk, and systems operations and maintenance services for a federal law enforcement organization. The Program Director will be engaged daily with the federal customer C-suite and other senior officials. S/He will be savvy to Federal mandates for Government IT modernization and acquisition reform, and lead a program that provides the workforce to serve the customer’s current state as well as enable digital transformation and innovation for the customer organization.
The Program Director will cultivate a strong and collaborative internal program leadership team, mentoring and empowering them in their area of technical and personnel oversight as well as promoting their achievements to the customer and within GDIT. S/He will activate strategic corporate reach-back to meet mission needs. S/He must be proficient with various contract types and contract funding strategies. The Program Director will rapidly produce ROM costs and forecasts at request from the Government; s/he will also master GDIT processes and be savvy in working with corporate pricing and contracts for compliance. The Program Director will recognize business opportunities and capitalize on them.
Above all the Program Director must be professional, patient, courteous, and helpful in the midst of politically sensitive situations. S/He will be responsible to ensure that the program’s internal leadership team, and all staff on the program, are mentored in professional conduct as well.
