The Operations Lead (OL) will have a track record of maintaining a web portal to a high level of operational availability. The OL will be skilled in leading an operations team that will utilize core servers and cloud monitoring tools to monitor the systems’ CPU load, memory load, user, and application status and resolve issues when a system problem occurs. The OL will coordinate with the Cloud, Cyber-Ops team and ISP to provide site operational status on a regular basis, resolve ISP problems, deploy baseline updates, and provide Tier 2 support in troubleshooting entity incidents.
STEM Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus ten (10) years of experience, and/or Master’s degree plus eight (8) years of experience in Information Technology operations and support.
Minimum three (3) experience maintaining cloud services to include at a minimum Amazon Web Services (AWSs).
Demonstrated experience maintaining DevSecOps environments in Govcloud.
Demonstrated five (5) years of experience leading a web service system operations team and three (3) years of experience managing server maintenance and support.
Demonstrated minimum three (3) years of experience managing a team that demonstrated the ability to maintain high operational availability of a web-based application.
Demonstrated three (3) years of experience managing a Tier 2 24x7x365 Helpdesk to include Tier 3 support “on demand” for Priority 1 incident response turnaround.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification desired.
