At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Contracts Manager you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. In this role, the Contracts Manager will lead a team of professionals responsible for contract activities including proposals, negotiating and administering contract awards, ensuring compliance with contract and regulatory requirements and company policies. As a member of the Contracts, Acquisition Management Operations (CAMO) team, this position will be expected to serve as leader and subject matter expert supporting a large program and as well as proposal and contract activities.
HOW A CONTRACTS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Lead the contracts support activities for the development and proposals for IDIQ Task Orders
Lead pre-award negotiations and contract award, administration and close-out activities
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, regulatory requirements (including FAR, DFARS, etc), customer reporting requirements and company policies
Develop and maintain constructive relationships internal and external customers
Conduct periodic contract portfolio reviews with senior leadership
Lead, coach and develop team of direct reports
