**Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.**

Core hours: 9am-3pm. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have basic skills in Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Sponsor Procurement System or be willing to learn the Sponsor Procurement System for ordering specific supplies. Will monitor and manage telephones for department chief and call outs. AA will retrieve, open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and ensure outgoing mail is sent in a timely manner. Assist EXO with gathering budget requirements and monitoring department spend plan as required. Cross-check spend plan with department transaction status report and update spend plan accordingly (1-2 times per month). Work independently with minimal oversight from the USG staff to draft, proofread, and edit routine and special correspondences. Participate in meetings and events, prepare room and materials for presentation, acting as a recorder or working member of the department and provide administrative guidance to subject matters of the meetings and events. Maintain up to two front office calendars (Department Chief and Deputy Chief) and schedule meetings accordingly, including deconflicting meetings. The AA will manage the department shared conference room calendar and resolve conflicts as required. Required to update department recall rosters, phone trees, and phone cards as staff and contractor personnel transition to and from the department. Submitting access requests for department personnel and visitor requests as applicable. The AA will serve as a backup time and attendance recorder for staff officers. Primary focal point for scheduling one department owned conference room using MS Outlook. Will maintain office supplies for department personnel.


Associates Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.



5-8 years of related administrative experience.
