At GDIT, our employees are driven, resourceful, and unwavering. Our work depends on a Java Automated Tester joining our team to support United States Postal Service (USPS) activities working remotely.  Some travel will be required to USPS sites per project needs.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. In this role, you will be trusted to perform Automated Testing in Selenium, QTP, JUNIT or UFT with equivalent JAVA or VBScript development for use in writing test scripting, and Moderate SQL.  

In this role, this is what you will be doing:  

• Performing automated and functional testing in Selenium, QTP, JUNIT or UFT
• Using JAVA or Python or VBScript development for use in writing automated test scripting
• Using skills in DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab)
• Utilizing knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Using knowledge and skills in change management and configuration manager (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.)

What you will need for the role: 

• Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
• 10+ years of professional experience
• 2+ years of progressive experience with Automated and Functional testing
• Experience should also include a minimum of two (2) years of experience with Selenium, QTP, JUNIT or UFT with equivalent JAVA or Python or VBScript development for use in writing test scripting, Moderate SQL
• Experience in containers, DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab)

The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.  We can only accept Green Card Holders or US Citizens for this program.

The likely salary range for this position is $103,272 - $172,453, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
