Serve as the principal IT expert to provide technical expertise and guidance for the design, development, and implementation of the solution capabilities, features and products to successfully operate and enhance communications, compute and IT security;
Ability to de-complex and translate the benefits of current, leading-edge, or bleeding-edge information technologies to establish a pipeline of potential innovations for analysis and eventual deployment, to include developing businesses cases in favor of such technologies;
Serve as the top technical advisor for the program and customer stakeholders for the overall technical architecture, systems design, and component functionality of enterprise and mission services;
Able to communicate complex technical subject matter equally to the mission and corporate stakeholders while choreographing complex relationships;
Leverage leading-edge IT solutions to improve the customer's mission effectiveness while continually seeking opportunities to increase efficiency through improved processes and technology;
Lead the research, analysis, engineering and implementation planning of the solution to ensure long-term solution integrity and continuous advancement of the program capabilities;
Develop technical, operational and transition strategy;
Serve as the top technical authority for the GDIT program’s engineering and operations teams, formulating and consistently communicating technical priorities and adjudicating complex decisions with engineering’s and operation’s leaders;
Meet and maintain stringent security requirements;
Identify, diagnose and clearly communicate issues negatively impacting performance or client satisfaction and escalate / resolve in a timely fashion to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives;
Coordinate technical and strategic planning with the engineering teams to ensure technical projects and associated tasks can be completed on schedule and within budget.
MA/MS Degree MA/MS Degree with 12 + Years Relevant Experience or
BA/BS Degree with 18+ Years Relevant Experience
At least 12 years of progressively responsible technical leadership experience related to IT infrastructure, communications, networking, or non-software systems integration;
Experience as a Chief Technology Officer;
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex IT solutions in a large-scale enterprise;
Extensive experience leading technical teams within large, complex, geographically distributed environments, able to motivate and engage with distributed teams working related tasks, and providing technical support and guidance during the configuration through implementation phases of large complex infrastructure migration or non-software systems integration projects;
Experience providing technical expertise and analysis support of infrastructure and communications architectures, systems, and related cyber initiatives;
Experience in the delivery of innovations to successfully lead the contract in transformation activities;
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate technical messages to technical and non-technical audiences;
ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundations certification, at a minimum, or higher;
Ability to drive cross-team initiatives balancing technical, mission and resource management priorities.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance, with the ability to attain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
