DevOps Evangelist 

GDIT, a Federal marketplace leader in next-generation IT solutions and services, is seeking highly qualified and motivated IT professionals like you who are eager to contribute to our critical Homeland Security missions. For the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) GDIT anticipates performing software development and application enhancements on the Mission Systems Lifecycle Support (MSLS) contract using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevSecOps processes. GDIT is excited to offer you a unique opportunity to join a  SAFe Agile Release Train (ART) utilizing CI/CD pipeline to support one our nation’s most critical homeland missions – the storage and processing of biometric and associated biographic information for national security, law enforcement, immigration and border management, intelligence, background investigations, and associated testing, training, management reporting, planning and analysis

GDIT is seeking a highly motivated Senior Management Analyst  to join our growing team.  The successful candidate will be proficient with managing in an agile methodology; experienced with both a Scrum and Kanban implementation; skilled in the management, training, and mentoring of medium to large sized teams; possess an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extensive client interaction. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manages development and test teams using Agile principles

• Develops IDENT DevSecOps implementation

• Oversees CM, QA, Risk, and Security Engineering on MSLS

• Represents GDIT on daily Scrum calls with the client

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship

• DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of relevant experience

• SAFe Agilest 5.0 Certification

• Understanding of IDENT NPE DevOps process

• Knowledge of OBIM KanBan process

• Experience managing Agile SW development teams 

Desired Skills / Qualifications:

• Currency with CI/CD/CA automation and implementing secure DevOps methodologies

• Experience in Jira to support configuration management in an Agile environment

• Experience in Confluence to support documentation in an Agile environment

• Experience with Scrum and Kanban’]

• Familiar with Ansible 

• Proven track record as a self-learner, keeping current with the latest techniques
