Mission Planner (TS/SCI, U-2 MPC, Beale AFB, CA.)

Job Description

Join GDIT, an experienced leader in U-2 operations. We are pursuing this new opportunity and are in need of a Mission Planner for Beale AFB, CA.

Responsibilities

The Mission Planner will provide support to the Program Manager and Mission Planning (Lead) as required. Responsible for the 24/7/365 mission planning requirement in support of global U-2 operations.  Contractors will provide all planning and coordination elements required to execute a U-2 mission - including, but not limited to: aircraft performance, navigation, and routing; sensor & mission systems; target development; weather; airspace & diplomatic clearances; intelligence & threat mitigation; communication systems; maintenance status & aircraft files; and operational/aircrew products – to include post-mission debrief products.

Requirements

• Three plus (3+) years experience in one of the following areas: DoD Rated Aircrew, Corporate/Commercial/Law Enforcement Aircrew, Air Traffic Control, Commercial Flight Planning, DoD Flight/Mission Planning, and/or other relevant work experience
• Five plus (5+) years of Sensor Planner experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Top Secret/SCI clearance is REQUIRED

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
