We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with strong analytical skills and understanding of databases, as well as experience writing and executing test scripts, to join our team. The Quality Assurance Analyst must be skilled in problem solving, communication, technical writing, and data analysis.
The Quality Assurance Analyst will plan, coordinate, analyze and develop test plans, scripts, test cases and test data for functional testing.
Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans
Execute functional test plans manually and conduct exploratory testing
Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including validating stored procedures, jobs and triggers
Identify potential quality issues and escalate/report issues in a timely manner
Ensure software deliverables are meeting functional specifications and requirements
Required skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience. (Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area is preferred)
5+ years of relevant QA experience in software development
5+ years of experience in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including creating and manipulating test data
Strong understanding of database structures and design
Experience in documenting testing processes
In depth experience working amongst development teams, project management and stakeholders
Experience writing and executing SQL query commands
Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
Desired skills and experience:
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher
Experience working in an Agile development team is preferred
Experience in converting from manual testing to automated testing is a plus
Superior technical documentation skills

The likely salary range for this position is $72,800 - $109,200, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
