The Sr. Software Engineer provides the following support:
Acts as a servant-leader for an Agile software team utilizing the Scrum framework.
Acts as a leadership resource, providing guidance to the Scrum Team on Agile practices.
Facilitates Scrum ceremonies as-needed to ensure the Scrum team gains maximum value while remaining within the time-box.
Utilizes knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies to facilitate team growth and promote a culture of self-management.
Supports and educates the Product Owner / Business Analyst on items such as product backlog maintenance and backlog refinement/grooming.
Analyzes business and technical processes, suggesting potential changes to help drive continuous improvement.
Promotes transparency by modeling strong communication both internally and externally.
Prepares Agile metrics to be presented both internally and externally on an as-required basis.
Utilizes work-tracking software such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Azure DevOps (ADO), or JIRA to assist in team workflow planning and provide project level reporting to assist in delivery of contract reporting requirements.
Contributes to the advancement of Agile methodologies within the organization.

Is adaptable, able to recognize unique barriers to the implementation of Agile methodologies in the DoD workspace, and clear them.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent and 3 years of related work experience.
Security Clearance – Secret (active within the past two calendar years)
Experience as a Scrum Master implementing Agile Software Development Methodology, and one or more frameworks (such as SCRUM or KANBAN) or a base level Scrum certification such as the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM-I).
Knowledge of traditional Project Management values and practices.
Experience implementing Agile methodologies in the DoD or Federal landscape.
