Job Description

GDIT’s DOJ/OJP team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Deliverables Manager to join our team.  Our contract team has an exciting opportunity to define the path forward for the Office of Justice Programs, the primary grant making arm of the Department of Justice, funding over $4 billion in grants each year.  Our IT service delivery contract is responsible for maintaining and modernizing the diverse technology landscape at OJP and ensuring the OJP's stakeholders have the right IT capabilities to provide needed services to communities and organizations around the world. 

Candidate would be expected to mature deliverable management and documentation practices with proven experience in areas of:

  • Manage program deliverables; maintain high quality level of technical and release documentation submitted to the client
  • Ensure deliverables’ schedule and quality adhere to the program contractual requirements
  • Review technical documentation prepared by the program team; work closely with team to ensure deliverables’ uniformity, as well as deliverables’ and technical artifacts’ consistent message/format
  • Serve as a liaison between program team and the federal staff in defining and implementing artifact standards
  • Ensure program artifacts adhere to GDIT and client-defined standards
  • Work closely with senior Federal staff in preparation and distribution of executive briefings
  • Develop documentation and accompanying materials to showcase the software delivery benefits to IT and business stakeholders; develop marketing pamphlets and brochures for distribution to the larger Federal organization
  • Oversee junior and mid-level staff in documentation and training areas

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Must possess excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Must be comfortable interacting with both technical and C/Director level customer staff
  • Be able to provide fresh ideas to existing problems to move the organization forward
  • BS or equivalent + 14 yrs related experience, or MS + 12 yrs related experience

Contract Requirements:

  • Contract Requires US Citizenship
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Agency specific Public Trust clearance

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
