Job Description

GDIT is seeking highly motivated Jr SharePoint Administrator to join our growing team to define and support our mission-critical applications for our customer in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE).  A career in enterprise IT means connecting and enhancing the systems that matter most. At GDIT you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and play a meaningful part in improving how agencies operate. Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the first point of contact in assisting end-users with SharePoint issues and questions
  • Provide Tier I and Tier II end-user help desk support for SharePoint sites and custom applications, escalating tickets as needed and ensure environment adheres to SLAs and governance plans.
  • Assist in SharePoint administrative activities
  • Track and report on support provided.  
  • Provide support for internal and external collaboration users and troubleshoot user issues. 
  • Promote a collaborative Agile team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation
  • Assist with internal and external communication

Required Skills:

  • Experience with web-based Knowledge Management (e.g. Confluence, SharePoint)
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working in dynamic team-based environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelors degree
  • 5 years related experience
  • US citizenship required
