Our work depends on Network Engineer joining our team to ensure the smooth operation of all connectivity to to remote users, at our data centers and geographically between infrastructure locations.

This role is part-time and fully remote! Hours will range from 8-20 hours a month.


  • Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, and/or data communications networks
  • Work directly with with Network, Telecom and Open systems engineers
  • Responsible to work with other team members via Service Desk ticketing system, Working meetings and occasional on site projects
  • Needs the ability to work independently and proactively
  • Will be responsible for the management of Cisco, Palo Alto and Meraki Firewalls and Networking infrastructure across two Datacenters in support of the BCRC contract


Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Ability to engineer and administrate Networking Switches and Firewalls at a high level
  • Experience with Fortinet
  • Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki experience

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $17,871 - $26,807. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
