GDIT is seeking a Technical Project Lead to help support an exciting new Cloud Service Offering contract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS).
The Senior Project Manager will:
Responsible for all aspects of project development and implementation from original inception to final completion.
Serves as a single point of contact. Interfaces with all parties involved in the project including developers, administrators, engineers and customers.
Gathers customers’ requirements and establish project scope and objectives.
Prepares detailed schedules, project estimates, and status reports.
Allocates resources to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
Coordinates and conducts meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Reviews deliverables and ensures adherence to quality standards.
Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and evaluates vendor deliverables.
Provides recommendations and takes action to resolve any management related issues.
Responsible for large projects\programs or significant segment of a large complex project\program.
Leads team on large projects\programs or significant segment of large complex projects\programs.
Translate customer requirements into formal agreements and plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results or have acceptance in the targeted market, while meeting business objectives.
Works with client to identify business requirements and develops the proposal.
Subsequently leads a team in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing, and closing tasks of a project\program or segment of a project\program to produce the solution deliverable.
Executes a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, test and final delivery.
Formulates partnerships between customer, suppliers and staff.
Anticipates potential project\program related problems.
Utilizes refined techniques for identifying, eliminating or mitigating solution, project\program and business risk.
Understands customer, industry and business trends.
Applies this understanding to meet project\program objectives.
As appropriate, challenges the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement.
Analyzes information and situations and implement actions, independently and or through the management team to ensure project\program objectives are met.
Analyzes new and complex project\program related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
Active DoD Secret clearance
6 years of experience (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)
2 years experience managing Cloud Service Offering Projects
Proven project management experience
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
PMP, ITIL, and/or SixSigma certifications
This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by January 18, 2022 or the start date, if after January 18. Individuals who work in or reside in Texas or Montana or work outside of the United States may be excluded from this requirement.
The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
