GDIT is a leading cybersecurity solutions provider to the federal government. We have an immediate need for a senior cyber forensics manager to lead a team of cyber investigators, engineers, and analysts focused to ensure we meet our customer’s security services and technology needs.
Our team focuses on the analysis and investigation of cybercrime. We continuously investigate suspicious activity with intent to support criminal prosecution where a crime was committed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading and supporting criminal investigations and forensics. You must also have experience leading teams to ensure compliance with approved processes, procedures, and protocols. In this role, you will work to ensure your team provides sound forensic analysis to identify and prosecute cyber crime
Lead and manage personnel and activities supporting the program.
Coordinate with customer points of contract to ensure effective, efficient, and compliant contractor support.
Establish essential staffing processes to ensure appropriate, qualified, and sufficient contractor resources.
Maintain staff assignments and schedules
Manage individual and team performance
Communicate program policies, purposes, and goals.
Performs quality control – ensuring team and individual performance meets established performance standards.
Monitor, track, and report the status of activities.
Education: A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Forensics, or other related discipline.
General Experience: 10 years of experience in intelligence, computer security, forensics, or technical analysis with increasing responsibilities. Specialized Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in cyber forensics with a focus on support law enforcement. Five (5) years of technical supervisory experience.
