General Dynamics Information Technology is looking for a Secret Cleared Project Scheduler (also called Integrated Master Scheduler ) to join our team to support the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). Newly awarded, SCITES is a 7 year contract supporting SOUTHCOMs AOR. This position is based in Doral, FL.The Project Scheduler will support the following tasks in support of the Integration section.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS’) in support of multiple SCITES enterprise projects.
Responsible for assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in developing IMS’ for multiple project.
Create and manage resource loaded IMS’ to enable accurate performance tracking cost and funding forecasting and anticipate staffing and logistics requirements.
Capable of identifying key program milestone events, contract deliverables, program reviews, integration activities, document contract changes and additions, and training requirements for inclusion in program IMS’.
Provide probability of program success factors and metrics to support the program with an integrated view of program risks with enough detail and predictive power to enable early risk recognition, mitigation, and resolution for all programs.
Assist the Product Managers with shaping effective IMS’ to meet mission needs.
Assist IPTs in maintaining current schedules.
Provide hands-on development of layered schedules and plans demonstrating how a program is progressing and will meet requirements and objectives.
Consolidate critical paths of numerous projects into a single IMS.
Provide IMS training as requested to IPTs.
Participate in special projects as required.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
5 years of general program management experience and 3 years of relevant program schedule development and integration experience.
Experience in project management, engineering management, DoD acquisition, or another related subject of comparable complexity and responsibility.
Experience with developing an integrated master schedules (IMS’) using Microsoft Project.
Knowledge of DoD acquisition milestones, decision points, and staffing processes.
Expertise with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
Excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills.
