III Corps MTC Hood Operations Lead

GDIT is seeking a highly experience and qualified Operations Lead at our Mission Training Complex (MTC) at Fort Hood, Texas.  Our work depends on an Operations Lead that can plan ahead, coordinate between the III Corps MTC hub and spoke network, and synchronize day-to-day operations.  Primarily, the Operations Lead will coordinate, synchronize, and maintain a hub and spoke key event schedule for the program.  The daily updates will ensure the customer and entire contract Team have situational awareness on task order management, knowledge management, operations support, property accountability, facilities support, security management, systems administration, and exercise planning.  Additionally, the Operations Lead will ensure proper coordination is conducted throughout the program to promote effective and efficient training for the customer.  The Operations Lead will report to the MTC Hood Site Manager and coordinate directly with the III Corps MTC contract Task Order Manager (TOM) to ensure smooth and coordinated execution of the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support (MTCCS) contract.



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Background of at least 10-years experience with military training and at least 2-years experience conducting MTC training management and support
  • Possess a minimum of 5-years supervisory experience
  • Have a full understanding of the Army’s Mission command Training Program (MCTP), constructive and virtual simulations, and Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS)
  • Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CGSC/ILE or equivalent level military schooling (MEL 4)
  • Have operational experience in training at the Division or higher level
