Our work depends on a Senior System Engineer joining our team to support one of our Maryland customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with Rest API, JMS Messaging Services, Office 365, visualization concepts, understands architecture and has an understanding of JavaScript, XML, and familiarity with AWS.

  • Develops and maintains code and associated test scripts to meet defined requirements.

  • Supports the planning of systems and development deployments as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.

  • Evaluates the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements and the characteristics of an overall system.

  • Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensuring the hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinating and/or modifying systems parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.

  • Revises existing systems, testing functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input requirements, and storage.

  • Provide the documentation, testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications and configurations.

  • Perform as a liaison with other business functions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

  • Eight (8) or more years engineering experience in the design, development and implementation of software development tools to include developing and testing software solutions; analyzing system performance standards,  analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; conferring with users and management to derive system requirements; problem investigation and resolution. 

  • Experience with cloud/server/network implementation and support. 

  • Engineering experience with Microsoft Active Directory to include: Granting privileged Access, Configuring Active Directory Services (ADDS), Group Policy, Objects, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), File Sharing services, Active roles Server (ARS).

  • Intermediate or advanced PowerShell scripting.  

  • Experience providing Tier 3 support in an enterprise level, globally distributed environment.  Experience creating quality Detailed Design documents, Test Plans, Implementation Plans and Standard Operating Procedures. Demonstrated aptitude for learning and rapidly mastering new applications and technology.

  • Must currently have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Poly

  •  DoD approved certifications is necessary to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DoD 8570) requirement for this position:  Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, or GCED. **
