Guard Enterprise Cyber Operations Support (GECOS) - ARNG
The Guard Enterprise Cyber Operations Support (GECOS) program that supports the Army National Guard (ARNG) is seeking a Security focused System Administrator in Falls Church, VA to provide support for the Army National Guard Bureau’s mission and its Enterprise Hosting Services (EHS) environment. The position will have a strong focus on customer support and system security including: administration and configuration of Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, and 2019 VMware virtual machines, vulnerability management and general availability, reliability, and security of ARNG IT systems.
Install, configure and maintain Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 2016 Servers.
Perform Windows OS and application updates as needed.
Apply/implement IAVMs, STIGs, bug fixes, security patches, and access controls across multiple platforms.
Perform system testing and troubleshooting of servers as required.
Assist the EHS Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with the following tasks as needed:
Validate security controls and documents in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) eMASS package, to include: the SSP, SAR, PIA, Categorization Form, Implementation Plan, Network Topology, HW/SW Listing, and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Perform SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC) scans to ensure configurations are in accordance with latest STIGs.
Conduct and maintain ACAS vulnerability scans on networks, systems and applications.
Assist with vulnerability remediation.
Ensure that cybersecurity plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures are aligned with cybersecurity standards.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Must be able to document system configurations.
Occasional On-Call required.
· DoD SECRET Clearance
· ITIL Foundation Certification (can be obtained within 60 days of employment)
· DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
· 5 years of experience is preferred
