Reviews policies and guidance to make recommendations for the implementation of the policies and guidance for the agency and its partners. Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for an organization. Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customer requirements in a fast paced, evolving environment. Plans and leads major technology assignments, can readily evaluate performance results and recommend major changes to positively impact short term project growth and success.

  • Reviews information systems, transport systems, software, cyber security and datacenter infrastructure to provide information assurance and information security analysis.  

  • Review policies, procedures and guidance and provide analysis and reporting on efficacy of all aspects of the current IA posture. 

  • Provide recommendations on improvements, mitigations and remediation.  

  • Document analysis finding and reports and share those findings collaboratively within the enterprise. 

  • Prepare the customer for Information Assurance inspections and audit reviews. 

  • Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures. 

  • Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands. 

  • Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies. 

  • Applies experience to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features for system architectures. 

  • Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures. 

  • Performs vulnerability/risk analysis of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle. 

  • Ensures that all information systems are functional and secure. 

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and privacy laws.  

  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in Information Assurance.  

  • Utilizes strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills throughout workplace performance. 

BS + 10 years relevant experience required
