GDIT is seeking an M365 Tenant Administrator to help support an exciting new Cloud Service Offering contract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS), in Fort Meade, MD. This position will require the employee to report onsite at least 3-4 days a week. 
 

NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract funding and tasking.  

GDIT requires an M365 Tenant Administrator with extensive experience performing day-to-day operational sustainment of a large-scale Microsoft Office 365 deployment. The Administrator will help analyze requirements and identify appropriate technical solutions to enforce Department of Defense policies and desired outcomes across dozens of tenants. The Administrator will be tasked with enabling secure collaboration capabilities across the Department of Defense, including dozens of tenants. To facilitate this effort, the Administrator should have extensive experience implementing technical controls across the various O365 admin centers, including all of the following: 

  • Azure Active Directory 

  • Exchange 

  • OneDrive 

  • SharePoint 

  • Teams 

  • Power Apps 

  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager 

  • Security & Compliance Center 

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Supports the development of cross functional or large-scale automated information systems to include enterprise architectures. 

  • Designs system architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements and provides for present and future cross functional requirements and interfaces. 

  • Provides comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance. 

  • Performs evaluation of system alternatives and assessment of risks and costs 

  • Responsible for the design and development of new software products. 

  • Provides guidance and leadership to the development team on designing complex software systems. 

  • Acts as a high-level technical expert and addresses issues relating to systems integration and compatibility. 

  • Automated deployment and monitoring of all baseline tenant configurations across multiple tenants will be required. 

  • Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements. 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance  

  • IAT Level II Certification  

  • BA/BS Degree

  • 8 years of experience (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)  

  • 3+ years managing Office 365 services in a large-scale environment 

  • Familiar with DevSecOps approaches and automation of tenant configurations using PowerShell, REST API, etc. 

  • Familiar with online collaboration on configuration changes using a distributed revision control system (I.e. Git). 

  • Experience with commercial cloud services

  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment 

  • Able to report onsite as indicated above

Desired Qualifications:  

  • Knowledge of mobile device management platforms

  • Experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP cloud services

  • Experience with Agile software development
