As a Software Developer directly supporting the customer, you will be trusted to provide both critical technical support in addressing complicated IT-related issues and delivering exceptional customer service. he candidate will be responsible for providing expert level guidance to projects team members to ensure systems under development are compatible with existing enterprise IT Solutions and adhere to complex security requirements.
Working as part of a motivated, high-performing team
Resolving critical IT-related issues that negatively impact the customer’s mission
Collaborating with teammates and government customers to identify process improvements
Lending expertise and institutional knowledge to less experienced engineers to improve the overall technical excellence of the team
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 10 years related experience.
Software development/engineering experience.
Demonstrated experience in AWS Development.
Demonstrated DevOps experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Subversion, Python/JSON/Bash/CloudFormation scripting.
Demonstrated experience with SQL database development skills (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, etc) within the past 5 years.
Demonstrated development experience such as Hadoop Distributed File System, Apache, HBase, Hive, Pig, and RStudio.

May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.
May serve as a mentor to less experienced analysts.
May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of experience.
