Web Developer Responsibilities:

  • Working on a small development team, coordinates with client and technical lead to develop and maintain front-end aspects (CSS, etc.) of Drupal-driven, responsive public-facing government client websites. 
  • Utilizes familiarity with web development & content management tools to produce website packages (code module, themes, etc.), utilizing revision control software and managing a local development environment.  Ensure compliance with 508 requirements.
  • Delivers frond end elements to the team, coordinating to provide iterative improvements through drop to test environment
  • Reviews implementation and conducts post-deployment release testing
  • Provides helpdesk reach back support as UI Subject Matter Expert to publications team

Requirements:

  • Requires minimum of Associates Degree and/or 5-15 year’s of experience. 
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. 
  • Has the ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. 
  • Evaluates performance results and recommends changes affecting short-term project growth and success.  
  • Advanced custom Drupal theming
  • Top-tier SASS capabilities in conjunction with Drupal
  •  Understands the Document Object Model (DOM)
  • Knowledge of Responsive Web Design, experience with a 12 grid framework, Bootstrp 3 or 4
  • Ability to stand up and maintain a local Drupal 8 environment

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience
