Currently, we are seeking a System Administrator for the Applications, Infrastructure and Systems Support Third Iteration (AISS III) contract at Scott AFB, IL. The selected candidate must have or be able to obtain government security clearance, per contract requirements (Clearance Level: FINAL Secret). Required certification: CompTIA Security + or equivalent.
AISS III provides systems engineering, migration, integration and sustainment, service lifecycle management, system, network and database administration, training, testing, architecture and system design, configuration and asset management, and information assurance support. The System Administrator:
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
For this position, the System Administrator will perform the below tasks.
Patch and maintain a mixed virtual/physical environment consisting of one SharePoint 2010 farm, one SharePoint 2013 farm, four Microsoft (MS) CRM Dynamics servers and one HP Records Management system while providing Tier II Support for user issues associated with all.
Provide administration for Accenture’s Tasker Management Tool (TMT) software and servers including patching and maintenance of servers, troubleshooting user issues, creating new user accounts, and other technical guidance.
Assist in the migration of SharePoint 2010 farm into a new SharePoint 2016 virtual environment on a technical level including recommendations/best practices, configuring service applications, migrating data and setting up backup policies and procedures.
Ensure backup services are performed and maintained with a 30 day retention and assist Air Force Base POCs with log collection/access issues as needed.
Create and maintain documentation on System components and procedures as required.
Working knowledge of DoD hardening procedures and the RMF process including applying STIGs in a SharePoint environment.
Familiarity with Remedy ticketing system and VMWare virtualization software
Some working knowledge of SQL and SQL backups helpful
