Electronics Technician Maintenance II

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Electronics Technician Maintenance II you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Electronics Technician Maintenance II joining our team to perform technical and Life Cycle Support (LCS) to the Surface Sonar AN/SQQ-89 family of Sonar Systems inclusive of auxiliary, power, subsystems, and peripheral equipment. Analyze technical drawings, manuals, electronic schematics, and design documentation to troubleshoot, analyze, repair and maintain electronic components and systems. Develop, prepare, and provide recommended updates to schematics, designs, specifications, electrical drawings, and diagrams. Setup, configure and troubleshoot computer system networks and associated hardware/software components. Install software and required software patches, firmware updates and restore computer systems and networks to a fully operational state following procedure completion. Provide supervision and assistance to team members as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
● Required Experience:
● Security Clearance Level: SECRET
● Required Skills and Abilities: Information Assurance Technical (IAT)
● Preferred Skills: Professional engineering experience in analysis, design, development, integration, and test of military systems and knowledgeable in system architecture and domain engineering.
