GDIT has an immediate need for a systems engineer (SE) with the following responsibilities:
Manage the workflow of a dataset from source to downstream system, including transport, access controls, data management, conditioning, test and production.
Define use cases for a dataset and identify the source/destination.
Work with teams to create metadata record.
Work with data provider and systems to create access control policies.
If applicable, work with conditioning teams to determine best path and ultimate destination.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including internal teams and external mission partners.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A working knowledge of agency information systems
An ability to understand technical details and the skill to communicate them to a non-technical audience
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
