The Contracts and Acquisiton Management Office (CAMO) seeks an experienced Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join the Acquisiton Compliance Accountability team. This team is responsible for ensuring that all acquisiton files are properly maintained and for responding to all audits related to direct and indirect acquistion.

A Day in the Life:

  • Reviews weekly reports of purchasing activity against Master Repository reports to ensure all files are complete.
  • Reviews metadata fields in Master Repository for all files to ensure accuracy and completion and works with acquisiton personnel to corect as needed.
  • Supports maintance of list of active contracts subject to CPSR.
  • Supports response to all external and internal audit requests involving direct and indirect acquisiton files including SOX, incurred cost, and contract specific audits.
  • Proactively locates subcontracts files listed on Schedule J and conducts quality assurance review of all such files prior to DCAA audit.
  • Serves as facilitator between government compliance team and acquisiton personnel regarding audit issues, escalating potential issues ot management.
  • May provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced team members.
  • Participates in and/or manages special projects as required.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degee in Business Administration or a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
  • 5+ years of related experience in subcontracs administration or direct procurement
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS.
  • Effective administrative and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to operate and negotiate independently
  • Problem solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
