Test Engineer

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Test Engineer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to develop test plans and develop test schedules. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Will consult with the development and requirements teams to coordinate and test applications.
  • Test existing applications for compliance with upgrades.
  • Ensure new applications and software modifications meet requirements.
  • Ensure that the software interfaces with both new and existing systems.
  • Build test environments to include configuring and installing appropriate software.
  • Brief test results at control gates.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • Technical Skills: Software testing experience, Experience developing test plans procedures and scenarios, Lotus Notes, Testing web applications and Regression testing, MS Office applications, Project Management Framework (PMF).
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
