  • Provide guidance and oversight of work performed by the project’s technical team of installers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of project tasks

  • Collaborate with the Direct Report Leadership of the project’s technical team to establish goals and expectations, which will be communicated with technical team

  • Monitor project performance against established schedule and cost baselines

  • Ensure tasks are completed on-time, according to the project schedule

  • Identify issues, prioritize, and judge criticality, resolve, or escalate to Implementation Manager for resolution

  • Prepare weekly status reports, facilitate weekly, monthly and/or quarterly status stakeholder briefings; brief USG customers and program manager; prepare meeting minutes

  • Prepare contract deliverables, ensuring complete accuracy and on-time delivery to the customer

  • Report personnel status to the Implementation Manager with timely escalation of issues that impact project schedule.  Understand and ensure all members of the on-site team comply with health and safety guidelines of the installation (this includes monitoring guidelines associated with COVID-19 response).

  • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved promptly to the Implementation Manager.

  • Monitor and report on the performance of sub-contract personnel assigned to the project.

  • Maintain accountability for all property associated with the project until transferred to USG property books.

  • Provide support, as needed, for on-site technical management, Quality Assurance, and installation.

  • Ability to work and lead within a balanced-matrix organization

  • Ability to communicate above, below and across the organization and ensure proper relationships are established and maintained with customers, stakeholders, vendors, and the Program Management Office to facilitate the delivery of information and situational awareness

  • Ability to analyze, organize and summarize data to ensure accurate records and reporting are maintained throughout the project life cycle

  • Ability to manage project activities using standard productivity tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio

  • Ability to: identify, monitor, and report on project risk; identify and respond to risk triggers; implement risk mitigation strategies

Required

  • Possess working knowledge of legacy, telephony PBX system maintenance, installation, repair and setup of multi-line TDM business voice and computing system

  • Possess a working knowledge of US Army and DoD IT Networks, Services and Programs such as NETMOD, MPLS, ICAN, DSN and Voice over IP systems

  • Possess hands-on experience with DoD IT network and telecommunications deployments, upgrades, and integrations

• Current Secret clearance (minimum)

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of related work experience
