General Dynamics is seeking an experienced Systems Support/Support Desk Analyst for our SOUTHCOM Customer. This position is based in Doral, FL and is part of SCITES contract, a seven year IT Enterprise program contract GDIT won in fall of 2020.

Chosen individual will provide expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and evaluating output requirements and formats. Designs and develops computer system specifications that are appropriate for users needs and consistent with the overall design of the organizations/customers information systems architecture standards. Create or modify procedures to solve technical problems related to computer systems and programs.

  • Collects and performs analysis on information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system with moderate supervision

  • Prepares in-depth flow charts, models, and procedures along with conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions

  • Conduct form design and layout activities with moderate guidance from manager

  • Performs preparation of systems specifications

  • Under moderate supervision, prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of systems

  • Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience

  • Performs analysis and systems designs

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Technical Support

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

  • TS/SCI is required to start.

  • IAT-II certification (e.g., Security + CE or equivalent), current Computing Environment (e.g., MD-100) certification or WIN 10
