Job Description

Senior Software Developer

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Senior Software Developer supporting Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
  • Create a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
  • Perform software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
  • Provide analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience

Candidate must possess

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience with .Net framework 3.5 or above
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Angular framework version 6 and above
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with BootStrap
  • Minimum 5-6 years’ development experience with SQL Server Database and T-SQL
  • Experience with providing documentation such as SDD or other architectural documentation
  • Experience with GIT Source control repository
  • Experience in an Agile Development environment
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with IBM FileNet P8 integrations in .Net environments
  • Experience/understanding of IDOL search engine APIs
  • Experience with writing automated test cases
  • Experience with building automated pipelines using MS Azure DevOps
  • Experience in PowerShell Scripting
