This is position and the candidate will perform tasks requiring the capability to manage multiple projects within a large-scale program that will support total lifecycle budget and complexity within a single task order award. Tasks may include planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out small and large-scale projects in support of an agency’s mission.
The candidate will participate in a team to support the Microsoft Dynamics 365 DevOps program for the VA supporting over 70,000 VA employees that use the D365 implementations on a daily basis to provide customer service to Veterans, their families and beneficiaries. The candidate will support the sustainment, operations, maintenance, and enhancement of the D365 based systems and their integrations with the VA’s enterprise. The candidate will interface with extensively with VA business stakeholders, VA Line of business leadership and VA central office client stakeholders, including the Veterans Experience Office (VEO) staff, VA OIT leadership, COR and VA Privacy Officers, and are expected to document and resolve any issues that arise. The candidate will lead an initial management team of 12 highly skilled experts and scale the program to support over 14 D365 applications migrating to the DevOps sustainment model.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Document VA requests via Action Items and develop materials to respond to these requests
Capture and report on quantity-based performance metrics used to track core project functions for status reporting and invoicing
Utilize professional judgement, critical thinking skills and research to improve program processes and resolve issues affecting program performance
Prepare ad hoc presentations and reports and present them to VA stakeholder
Support action item management and definition of program risks
Bachelor’s Degree in business related field, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline with at least 4+ years of experience
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
Must have 4+ years of progressive experience defining, implementing and managing project processes
Must have 4+ year of experience supporting a Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation.
Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders
Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
US Citizenship or Green card holder
Experience with FetchXML, SSRS, or PowerBI
Dynamics 365 Certification
Microsoft Dynamics Architect
Previous Department of Veterans Affairs experience
Previous experience supporting Contact Centers
Active VA access including assigned CAG and PIV
