As a Systems Administrator supporting the customer, you will be trusted to act as the message addressing and support coordinator shall be customer focused, working independently supporting the different departments coordinating Organizational messaging activities and functions. In this role, a typical day will include:
The candidate will work independently with little to no supervision.
The candidate shall be responsible for updating (add, change, delete) message system CADS within ITS, MHF, EMS and ACTOR.
Will also be responsible for Addresses, collective Addresses, content Type, routing indicators and handling indicators with respect to security requirements.
Publish the necessary changes, documents all internal and external changes and modifications and be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
Broadcast internal and external changes to the sponsor’s partners.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 15 years related experience.
Technical Skills: Messaging system CAD, ITS, MHF, EMS MAD database and ACTOR.
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Experience making changes to MHF, ACTOR and EMS MAD databases including security changes for message content type.
Demonstrated experience documenting changes and requests in customers change request database.
Experience system testing and reporting test results to the test lead.

Advises less experienced personnel on data/media recoverability following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
Provides guidance to less experienced personal on hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Strategically develops performance and security plan for computer systems that meet the needs of network users. Advises on complex matters and may lead the work of less experienced personnel.
Recognized subject matter expert in job area typically through advanced education and work experience. Establishes operational plans. Manage strategic projects that are large in scale with major impact. With influence from leadership, develop new standards, policies and procedures. Problems faced are very difficult and highly complex. Recognized as a thought leader with highly specialized knowledge. Work performed is critical to the organization. May lead the work of less-experienced professionals.
Uses highly specialized knowledge in evaluating and assessing existing network systems and planning long-term strategies.
May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
