Our work depends on Joint Operations Center Manager joining our team to provides oversight for and directs contractor staff supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Joint Operations Center during 24/7 operations.

HOW JOINT OPERATOINS CENTER MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Serves as a Task Lead.

  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and execution of all program/technical support activities. Monitors and controls the scheduling of 24/7 watch team staff, and training compliance. Engages the customer in discussion of program status, including: identification of problems, issues, and strategies for resolution. Does strategic long-range and short-range planning as it pertains to the program.

  • Provides advanced analytical and technical support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise.

  • Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.

  • Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data.

  • Assists with the testing and development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs.

  • Identifies and recommends emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.

  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

  • Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.

  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

  • Serves as a mentor to less experienced analysts.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of experience relevant to operation a military operations center.

  • TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.

  • Experience with Defense Threat Reduction Agency

  • Experience with CWMD Operations

  • Experience briefing senior level officers and executives

  • Prior experience managing program to provide support to a national or command level intelligence office/agency preferred.
