Each Mission Training Complexes (MTC) Network Support Team (NST) will be capable of providing the communication architecture for the efficient and effective operation of the installation network.  The NST develops, coordinates, and implements exercise support communications plans, configures communications equipment, implements Cyber Security processes, and assists in installing equipment and circuitry in support of exercises.  The NST will work closely with the MTC Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and MTC information System Security Manager (ISSM) in facilitating the maintenance of Authority to Operate (ATO) within the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

GDIT is looking for SMEs in Network/Cyber Engineering and Technical Support Integrator (RMF).   SMEs that meet the preferred requirements, might qualify for NST Lead positions.


  • Security+ Certification
  • Ability to create/establish communications architecture, coordinate communications plans, configure communications equipment, implement Cyber Security processes, and assist in installing equipment and circuitry in support of exercises
  • Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree in Network Management or a related field
  • Eight years of experience in Network Architecture design and implementation
  • Experience in advanced planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance skills on the Microsoft server platform and Cisco router, switch, and firewall configuration, and SONET configuration/architecture
  • Have a strong understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies
  • Experience with specific product lines (Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, and Tripwire)
  • Understand the RMF Assess and Authorize process and Cyber Security requirements
