Integrated Logistics Support Manager

Job Description Summary:

Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager will plan, establish, and maintain an ILS system for the lifecycle of program products and services. ILS works by planning for and managing the interdependencies among the nine Logistics elements: Maintenance Planning; Supply Support including spares/repair parts; Training, Training Support, and Personnel Skills; Computer Resources Support; Maintenance Support Facilities; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation; Technical Data; Direct Work Maintenance Staffing; and Support Equipment. Required to develop the program Integrated Support Plan (ISP), hold Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), ensure the collection, review, and reporting of Logistics Management Information (LMI). Works with other systems engineering staff to ensure the delivery of the provisioning and cataloging conference.  Oversees the planning, implementation, monitoring, and controlling of the Contractor Deport Logistics Support (CDLS) efforts for the program. Provides status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks. Supports ECP efforts as required. Must have the ability to manage time and resources in order to meet assigned deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Support Strategy for long term sustainment of the APC system
  • Manage the Development of Training and Technical Manuals and supporting the management and delivery of these work products
  • Develop, Implement, and Manage supply support program according to Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) and Contractor Depot Logistics Support Plan (CDLSP)
  • Manage team of logistics analysts for spare parts Identification, cataloging, and provisioning in accordance with the APC system maintenance concept
  • Interface with Hardware Engineers to develop, implement, and maintain program Bill of Materials (BoM) and associated Hardware Breakdown Structure
  • Manage team of supply chain experts to implement, control, and manage System Asset Management to include bar coding and asset reporting
  • Warranty Management
  • Failure Analysis and Reporting
  • Implement Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMS/MS) to manage and address obsolete or near obsolete parts included in the system design.
  • Collaborate with engineering and customer to identify suitable replacements and follow processes and procedures to implement changes into the technical baseline and test prior to release into the production environment.
  • Support the maintenance design and implementation of First Level, Second Level Engineering, and Supply Support

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • MS/ME/MBA with 10-14 years of experience or BA/BS with 15-19 years of experience
  • PMP Certification desired, but not required
  • The primary job location is Oklahoma City, with the ability for remote work. Up to 20% travel for customer and team meetings will be required
