GDIT invests to deliver differentiated Technology offerings to our customers. As our Customer Engagement Lead, you will work with GDIT Growth, Technology and Program professionals across our company to:

  • Build awareness, understanding and promote the use of GDIT’s Technology Offerings
  • Help our teams get the resources and support they need to successfully introduce our Technology Offerings to customers
  • Track, measure and analyze how we use our Technology Offerings in the pursuit of corporate growth

This role is based in Falls Church, Virginia and offers a hybrid (in-office and home) work arrangement. The selected candidate will be based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with GDIT business leaders and use Opportunity tracking systems to identify and track business development opportunities where GDIT Offerings are a fit
  • Help teams determine the viability of our Offerings for their customers, connecting them with helpful Technology experts and other needed resources
  • Help to coordinate and track Tech Offering team engagements with GDIT stakeholders, including consulting efforts, demos, presentations, events, and solution development support
  • Build communications strategies and materials that inform GDIT stakeholders about our Tech Offerings, including new features, upcoming events, available learning opportunities, etc.
  • Track and report on performance activity and metrics related to GDIT’s Tech Offerings
  • Capture and share Tech Offering feedback from GDIT stakeholders and customers with Tech Offering teams

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience OR in lieu of degree, 9+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create positive, long-term customer relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage at an executive level
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and manage concurrent engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective communications strategies and materials
  • Demonstrated ability to collect data and generate activity and performance reports
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately assess the needs of customers and determine appropriate resolution strategies
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex topics in easy-to-understand language, tailoring that message appropriately for different communities
  • Ability to use data collection and reporting tools like MS SharePoint and SalesForce, or a related CRM tool.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition process

Desired Experience:

  • Foundational understanding of technology areas such as Cloud, Software Development, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence
  • Some experience supporting bids and proposals
  • Knowledge of the Federal Systems Integrator landscape
