Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

As an USARPAC Exercise Planner

  • Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at echelons ranging from Squad to Battalion; Assists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training. 

  • Serves in a mentorship or observer/controller role when requested. 

  • Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs). 

  • Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.  

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs. 

  • Prepares and presents briefing to organizational senior leaders.

  • MSEL development experience preferred. 

  • MEL IV or equivalent level schooling preferred. 

  • Perform other duties as required.

​Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Superb communication and organizational skills are a must

  • Expert in all Microsoft Office products

  • Mission Command Information System (MCiS) proficiency is highly desired

  • Extremely proficient in writing a five paragraph operations order (OPORD)

Education Required:

  • AA subject immaterial

  • At least 6-8 years of experience

Security Clearance:

  • Position requires a SECRET clearance

  • MUST be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
