GDIT has an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician (Radio FSR) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. This position requires someone with a current and active Secret clearance.

** NOTE: Must meet TESA Accreditation - BS + 3 yrs of recent specialized experience, or an Associate Degree + 7 of recent specialized experience, or Major Certification plus 7 yrs of recent specialized experience OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience.

Electronics Technician - RADIO Field Service Rep

Requirements:

The Radio Electronics Technician Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of C5ISR Communications Equipment and Systems and Platforms; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment to include but not limited to RADIO SET: AN/PRC-117G(V)4, RADIO SET: AN/PRC-148, RADIO SET: AN/PRC-150A(C), RADIO SET: AN/PRC-117F(V)2(C), RADIO SET: AN/VRC-104(V)5, RADIO SET: AN/VRC-104(V)6 150 WATT W/ PRC-150 HF RADIO MULTIBAND HANDHELD TACTICAL RADIO: (URBAN) RADIO SET: AN/PSC-5 RADIO SET: 117G, RT-1523E & RT-1523F SKL Programming

• Ensure Man Hours and Work Orders Reports meet CDRLS deadlines.
• Ensure of running a clean safe and productive workshop.
• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.
• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.
• Must have experience on most Radios Installation Kits Platforms  
• Familiar with COMSEC
• Familiar with SATCOM Satellite Systems 
• 25% Travel will be Require to Other European Countries.
• Candidate is required to performed other additional duties and in support the Contract.
• Good computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Company's

• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Train and oversee subordinates to verify that they are performing all of their duties effectively.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety Shoes must be worn on work-site.
• Employee is require to purchase the PPE and Safety Shoes.

• Candidate is required to perform other additional duties and assignments in support the Contract.

• Familiar with GCSS-Army Work Order process.
