At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be trusted to support our client's needs. In this role, a typical day will include:


  • Execute vulnerability management using tools such as, Nessus Network Monitor, and scanners.

  • Manage and communicate risk through Enterprise Mission Assured Support Service (eMASS) and Xacta.

  • Ensures the organization remains compliant with organizational policies through effective coordination.

  • Operates and maintains enterprise vulnerability management solutions.

  • Maintains systems documentation to support system accreditation requirements.

  • Support policies, procedures, and standards regarding cyber risk management.

  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.

  • Make recommendations to the customer that positively influence the organization's risk posture.

  • May serve as a technical team or task leader.

  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

  • Participates in special projects as required.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, and 8 years of Systems Administration experience. (Education, Training, Certifications or Work Experience can be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience.)

  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification required, such as Security + CE

  • Current/active TS/SCI clearance required

Preferred Certifications

  • DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) certification

  • eMASS certification

  • Xacta certification

  • Risk Management Framework (RMF) foundations certification

  • Admin. experience with Cisco, VMware, Windows, or Linux
