Join General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. We are searching for a Curriculum Support Analyst to join the team.

The Curriculum Support Analyst will provide support to the Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center Sea Combat Division (SMWDC-SCD) in San Diego, CA by providing subject matter expert (SME) advice and assistance in support of Advanced Tactical Training (ATT).

Responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Familiar with SMWDC briefing standardization requirements

  • Provide training on brief standardization and attend pre-boards and qualification boards for SMWDC instructors to reinforce standardization requirements

  • Support/provide instruction in a formal schoolhouse/classroom environment for WTI or other SMWDC taught courses of instruction in accordance with SMWDC governing instructions

  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Office suite to provide high end graphic support to all military and civilian instructors in preparing instruction and briefing materials

  • Provide updates to include review, update, and, when required, develop Tactical Memorandum (TACMEMO), Tactical Bulletins (TACBUL) and Fleet Advisory Messages (FAMs).

  • Monitor the progress of publication projects from conception to approval and distribution in the publication project database.

  • Research information from ships’ battle bills, naval messages, OPTASK’s combat system/equipment configuration manuals, validated and approved tactics, as well as data provided by technical specialists and validated fleet review comments and ensure they are compliant with existing directives, consistent, and clear. Contractor shall perform this task as required for validation and incorporation into publications.

  • Provide recommendations on the most effective method of presentation (e.g., figures, tables, and listings) as part of the review/editing process.

Candidates for this position shall possess at a minimum:

  • BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Knowledge of and experience with Navy Tactical Publications

  • Understanding of artistic design, experience developing high quality graphics for presentation and proficiency with Adobe software such as, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Premiere as well as Bryce and 3D Studio Max.
